Gary Cook
Vice President of Operations
Mr. Cook started with MARS in 1999 as a programming consultant and at the same
time was running the information systems for a large pluming firm in
Arlington, Texas. When the Plumbing firm was sold to a
larger firm out of Houston, Gary
became a full time employee of MARS in 2003. Gary holds an Architectural Degree from ATI
with a minor in Computer Science. Gary also has been trained
in all courses and was the interior trainer for interiors from 2006 to 2008. In
2008 he moved back into the office of IT manager, and also trains all incoming
franchisees on the use of MARS websites and software used in the day to day MARS
business. In 2009 Gary
added to his responsibilities the task of Compliance Manager.
Gary’s unsurpassed knowledge of both
sides of the MARS business makes him a valuable member to the MARS team.
Gary is married to his wife Kim and they have 4 grown children.
Gary
enjoys motorcycles and in a member of a motorcycle ministry and holds the
position of Sergeant of Arms for that organization. |
Claire
Soucy-Adams
Director of Supply Operations
With an extensive background in Customer Service, Claire Soucy-Adams
joined MARS in January of 2007. Prior experiences that she
brings to the team are: Customer Service Manager, Traffic
Manager, Import/Export Manager, Payroll Manager, Inventory
Control, and Warehousing. Her many duties include purchasing,
inventory, supply flow, customer service, and accounting.
Claire and her husband, Reginald, resides in South Arlington.
Part of her many hobbies include, football, hockey, and spending
time with her grandchildren.

David Arp
Executive Vice President of Recruiting
Mr. Arp has held this position since June, 2008. David co-founded MARS in 1992 with David Jones and served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing until 1999 when he left the company to join and later manage a large full-cycle recruiting agency in the DFW area. In July, 2006 David re-joined MARS as Senior Recruiter and was later promoted to Director of Recruiting. David’s breadth of recruiting management experience across two decades along with his Ph.D. studies in Industrial and Organizational Psychology give him a unique advantage in developing recruiting strategies that generate successful employees and franchisees for the MARS brand. |
Chris Waters
Director of Training
Mr. Waters has been a MARS Certified trainer since August, 1998. Prior to that he spent 2 years as a window tint installer in the Dallas, Texas area. Chris was hired and trained by Jayson Jones to teach all 33 courses at the MARS International Training Institute. He oversees all the training content as well as the schedules and is responsible for the ensuring our Trainees get the quality of Training our Texas Certified Career school is known for. Chris is a 10 year veteran in the field of cosmetic appearance reconditioning and was recognized by the MARS operators as Trainer of the Year in 2000.

Mike Harrington
MARS Certified Trainer
As a result of fairly rapid growth, Mr. Harrington was invited to join MARS in early 2007. He left a maintenance
Supervisory position at a local Hospital and is a friendly and valuable member of the MARS Training Team. Mike trains on 25 of the 33 courses and was personally instructed by Jayson Jones (Chief Training Officer).
His ‘Master of many trades’ experience is very helpful in our industry that needs service evolution that thinks out of the box. Mike is the newest addition to the training staff and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
