It seems we spend more and more time inside our cars these days. Commutes are longer and because we seem to have less time, we try to get more done in the car, like eat and write and conduct business on the phone. All this activity has made the inside of our cars more prone to damage and spills.

Vehicle interiors include many different surfaces like, leather, vinyl, velour, plastic, painted metal, wood and carpet. All these different surfaces need different products and techniques for restoration, when an accident happens. Accidental damage like an ink pen line across crème colored leather seats, requires one kind of repair and correcting a cigarette burn hole in cloth seats requires another. No matter what the nature of the damage is though, MARS technicians are equipped and trained to repair almost any kind of light or cosmetic damage to automobile interiors.

Interior repair seems to get more attention because even when driving the car, the damage can still be seen by the driver. There is certainly no longer any reason to have to live with the damage or unsightly results of our ever faster pace of life.

Repair is always a more eco-friendly alternative than replacement, because it keeps the repaired part on the car, instead of replacing it and filling up the landfills with the damaged piece. Much of interior repair centers around leather and vinyl discoloration. The fix for this damage is to use Auto manufacturer approved, low VOC dyes that restore the item to its original color and strength. Taking this approach, stops the manufacturers from making as many replacement parts and as a result saves our resources. It is ecologically responsible.
